Who this applies to
This policy applies to users of My Kirana Buddy (the "platform") operated by Gosotek Technology Jaipur (P) Ltd. ("we", "us"). The platform is a business-to-business ordering system restricted to verified Agents, Wholesalers, and Retailers.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, phone number, email, business role (Agent / Wholesaler / Retailer), shop name, shop address, pincode, and the KYC documents you choose to upload (Aadhar, PAN, driving licence, shop photo, selfie, GST certificate, business licence).
- Usage data: orders placed, products viewed, cart events, payment method selection, and delivery-confirmation captures.
- Device & location: device identifiers, push notification tokens, IP address, and — with your consent — GPS location for shop enrollment, delivery tracking, and attendance / geofence features used by agents and delivery staff.
- Communications: messages you send via in-app support, WhatsApp, and email.
How we use information
- Verify your eligibility as a business user (Agent / Wholesaler / Retailer).
- Show role-specific pricing, products, and order-history relevant to your account.
- Process and fulfil your orders, and handle returns or disputes.
- Send order updates, delivery notifications, promotional schemes (which you can opt out of), and security alerts.
- Improve the platform through aggregated analytics.
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud.
Who we share it with
- Brands and suppliers whose products you ordered, to fulfil your order.
- Delivery agents and operations staff who need name, phone, delivery address, and order details to deliver your order.
- Payment processors for handling wallet top-ups and invoice settlement.
- Cloud and infrastructure providers (Google Cloud, Firebase, Amazon Web Services, and similar) acting strictly as data processors under contract.
- Law enforcement and regulators when required by applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain account, KYC, and order data for as long as your business account is active, and afterwards for the period required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@mykiranabuddy.com; we will delete or anonymise data that is not required to be retained by law.
Security
We use TLS in transit, encrypted storage for uploaded documents, role-based access control on the admin panel, rate-limited OTP login, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; please report any suspected issue to security@mykiranabuddy.com.
Your choices and rights
- You can update your profile and KYC documents from the app at any time.
- You can opt out of promotional notifications from the app settings or by replying STOP to SMS.
- You can request a copy of your data or request deletion by emailing support@mykiranabuddy.com.
- You may withdraw location permission at any time via your device settings; some features (shop enrollment, delivery tracking, agent attendance) will no longer work.
Children
My Kirana Buddy is intended for business users who are adults (18 years or older) acting on behalf of their business. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We will post updated versions of this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be notified in-app.
